ST-FOUR is a specialist IT service provider based in Telford, we have exciting opportunities for someone who has some real-world technical experience and is looking to develop their IT career.
You will be involved in designing, implementing & supporting project work both on-site and remotely and to work as a helpdesk 4th line support to our clients so you will need to be prepared and able to travel and at times stay away from home.
Your duties and responsibilities for this role will include:
- Technical project implementation planning
- IT Project work on varied customer systems
- Helpdesk support & Implementing Proactive systems monitoring.
- Remote support on client issues effectively resolving issues working with other members of the team
- Remote work & Occasional on-site work on clients IT systems.
We need you to have at least 3 years hands-on in-depth experience of working with IT infrastructure systems such as Microsoft, Linux, Azure, AWS.
Practical coding skills would be advantageous.
This position is an excellent opportunity for you to join a growing company who can offer a significant amount of training & hands-on exposure to a wide range of IT Services & Systems such as:
- Hardware Infrastructure i.e. Servers, Storage Arrays and Switches.
- Microsoft technologies such as AD, Hyper-V and Microsoft 365.
- Linux technologies such as SUSE, Red Hat & Ubuntu.
- VMware vSphere & Other Hypervisors
- Backup & DR using products such as Veeam, Macrium & SEP Sesam
- Desktop Management & Control
- Open Source technologies such as Zabbix & Uyuni
This is a full time, permanent position initially working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, we can be flexible on working hours for the right candidate.
While the vast majority of our work is remote controlling client systems travel is involved as is working away from home potentially for several days so you will need your own transport.
Work will be out of our Telford office for the whole of the probation period with flexible options for remote working once you have passed probation.
Salary is dependant upon experience.
